If I order a blind, when will it be delivered?
Our standard delivery is Monday to Friday, and is four working days from the day of order. Deliveries are usually made between 8:00am and 6:30pm. Next day delivery is available at an extra cost. We do not deliver on Saturdays and Sundays.
How much does delivery cost?
Our standard delivery costs £6.00 and is delivered in 4 days. Next day delivery costs £10.00 is available for orders placed before 2pm.
Orders over £250 are delivered FREE.
Where do you deliver to?
Currently, we deliver to the UK mainland only.
What if I miss my delivery?
If you miss your delivery do not worry, the driver will leave you a card so that you can contact the courier company to arrange a more suitable day, if they are not contacted the package will be sent back to us, where you will be liable to pay for delivery again.
What guarantee do the blinds carry?
Our blinds are guaranteed for 12 months against faulty workmanship and product defects.
Are the blinds easy to fit?
Yes, the blinds are easy to fit, for further information on fitting please see our fitting instructions which can be located under 'Additional services & downloads'.
Do the blinds come with everything I need to fit them?
Yes, you will be supplied with all fixtures and fittings needed to install the blind.
Can I fit the blinds in a bathroom?
Yes. Our wood venetians come treated with a humidity resistant coating making them perfect for rooms which contain moisture and humidity such as bathrooms and kitchens.
The colour that I ordered is not what I expected
The colour of the blind you receive may look different to the colour shown on your screen, this is due to colour variations on different computer screens. If however you are unsure you can request a free colour swatch before you make a purchase. We cannot accept any responsibility for any colour difference if you order blinds without a sample.
How do I clean my blinds?
Use a dry duster, damp cloth or vacuum cleaner with a wall-cleaning attachment to clean your Venetian blinds, care should be taken not to bend slats while cleaning.
If your blind becomes very dirty, wash it carefully with mild detergent and water, dry thoroughly.
Can I order other types of blind from polascreen?
Yes. All the products in the "products for your home and products for your business" are usually in stock. Currently we do not sell these online. Please call us on 0800 174313 for details.
What is your refund & returns policy?
As all our blinds are made to measure to your exact requirements we cannot offer a refund or return unless the product is damaged or faulty, so it is extremely important that you measure accurately and enter the correct measurements into the website.
How secure are my online payments?
We treat the security of your information very seriously. For this reason we have chosen to use the e-payment system offered by Protx, one of the market leaders in ecommerce. When you choose to pay online, your transaction is processed using the most secure methods. Once you have completed the payment, you will recieve an email to confirm your order.
Can I pay using a cheque?
Yes you can pay for your goods by cheque. If you wish to pay in this way, simply call us on 0800 174313 to place your order, when the cheque has cleared we will dispatch your goods. Please note it may take up to 10 days for cheques to clear.
